So kottke recently went from my favourite ugly yellow-green to a series of seizure-inducing blues. It’s actually quite refreshing (and very Apple, murdering of darlings and such), but sometimes I have terrible, recursive nightmares and yearn for the comfort of the familiar yellow bar.
Here’s the userscript — it hides the blue border and turns the header yellow. I based it on a simple custom CSS script I found and I’ve only tested it with Safari/GreaseKit, so proceed with caution.
but I keep having this feeling that something is missing. Ing ing ing ing ing. Or wrong. Is the bit to the left of the R too straight. I think that may be it but no not photoshop again no i just want to watch the latest episode of chuck nooo
Why do you look so good on screen? I just wish browsers had proper kerning. Also is it weird if I redesign whenever I’m in a mess? Its not particularly therapeutic either.
